This journal wasn't written in a comfortable office or a cozy coffee shop.

It was written on a couch in a 700 square foot studio apartment above a nightclub - a couch away from being literally homeless. No dryer, no AC, no heat. Washing clothes in the sink, turning underwear inside out. Music pounding through the walls until 2am every night.

And in that space - broke, dismissed, doubted - I was writing the mental frameworks that would help athletes like George and Nique overcome their darkest competitive moments.

I didn't write this from a place of comfort. I wrote it from the SAME place you might be in right now - wondering if things will ever change, fighting to keep going, processing setbacks and heartbreak while barely surviving.
